Description
COVID-19 has created a brutally competitive job market & if you’re going to attack it efficiently & competitively, you have to be strategic.
Many are asking for help on how to be competitive in this job market. I’ve created a Webinar to help people in bulk. I’ll give you valuable coaching on resume & cover letter writing, keyword optimisation for ATS’s (Applicant Tracking Systems), how to automate your job search, managing agencies, managing applications, expressions of interest vs. real jobs, interviewing, getting feedback, psych testing & more.
My knowledge comes from 6 years’ in Senior Recruiter roles with Rio Tinto Alcan (Gove), QGC, Origin Energy and Lihir Gold, 12 years in recruitment agencies, and +5 years resume writing. And when it comes to keyword optimisation for ATS’s, I’m proud to say I’m the only resume writer in Australia to have been on 2 implementations teams for one of the biggest systems in the world (PageUp), and have used others like Taleo and I-Grasp daily for many years (these systems are used by the likes of BHP, Rio Tinto, Oil Search, QRail, Origin Energy, QGC, Thiess, Orica, Downer, Tesla, Siemens, Linfox, NAB and many more). And as part of that, I set up many templates to scan applications for keywords. There’s been a huge amount of dubious information given to candidates on how ATS systems work and what it means to keyword optimise, but I’m here to rectify that.
I’ll cover all this & if you follow just a few of my recommendations, you’ll be much more competitive, efficient & confident.
To further help the community, I pledge to donate 10% of all profits from this webinar to The Smith Family, to help sponsor Australian children living in poverty. Charities such as The Smith Family help create better futures for young Australians in need through educational support. It’s a cause I’m really passionate about.
My goal for 2021 is to sponsor 10 young Australians living in poverty, so they get the essentials they need for school.
In Australia, 1 in 6 children & young people are growing up in poverty. “The Smith Family” website describes the cycle of disadvantage as:
“Low-income families can result in poorer educational outcomes for children, leading to difficulty getting a job & poorer overall life outcomes. In low-income families, money goes on food, rent & bills. Finding money for a school uniform, proper shoes, textbooks or the next school excursion is often impossible.”
